Local software developers, Treetop Software, LLC, have signed on to help design the ConnectLakeland.com website. “This is a great opportunity for Treetop to diversify its product line, and we’re excited to do that by supporting our community,” says Wesley Barnett, Treetop Software CFO.
Treetop is best known for designing SweatMonkey, an online database that connects students and community volunteers with volunteer opportunities. Treetop will be working with the ConnectLakeland team of volunteers to design a website that will act as a hub of information about Lakeland. The first feature to be built for the website will be an interactive calendar that will pool events from other established calendars and allow users to post individual events. “A single calendar source is something our community has been calling out for quite some time.
